Anything Visionking with a decent objective aperture size of 40 or more. A better field of view is going to help with that camera mod too.

I'm taking a look at my MAG one to see if I can find a way to mount an LED inside the part that attaches the mag to the magwell (rather than the box itself). I feel if I'm just shining light on the ones in the box then they're probably going to have a good amount of time to lose that extra florescence given to them before I manage to fire them. Also it means I won't have a string of glowing green beads hanging from the side of my gun during night games, but getting the battery in there may be a fair bit of work. Maybe a couple of AAAs.

If it's a buffer type then it should be easy. Take the stock off (send us a picture and we'll tell you how) then use a screwdriver to unscrew the tube: It'll just come right off and you throw on the new sling mount. Again, if you could just send a quick picture then that would help immensely if you've changed the stock at all. You won't need to mess around with your gearbox or anything else so don't worry. It depends on where you're looking to mount this as to what's compatible, but I assume you're talking about what we were earlier in the thread - buffer tube/recoil spring housing sling mounts. The buffer tube (the tube that comes out of the main body (receiver) of your gun (and which the stock sits on) is fairly generic if it's G&G so getting something that fits won't be hard.

Understandable - WGC being there (HK) as well as others that I use. Again though, I've had the same stonewall treatment from Echigoya too which is contrary to the service I had from them last year. When did you last order?

Yup, I know how it works with them and the other Japanese retailers. What I've been told so far though is that TM have introduced a minimum order criteria of 20 per part recently - goodness knows why. That's coming from Tokyo Model as well as others in the UK. I've even filled out the request form from the manual .pdf online and sent it to them with the serial numbers but apparently no cigar.

Unfortunately the rules are you need to have a gap of more than 2 months between your first and last game. Generally it's going to be easier to get them done at the same site, but if you present a 'stamped' UKARA form to another site they should let you complete it there instead as there's nothing in the UKARA terms to suggest the same site must be used those 3 times - just that they all be registered.

Yeh, that and the other site which is just the guy who finds parts himself is my last resort. Hopefully WGC pull through though. Edit E-mailed Impulse anyway. Let's see.

Tried them. They said I have to have bought the gun through them first and that I could only order replacements for that gun - completely contrary to what I was told last year when I ordered some replacements with them. Either way, it was tersely worded and unhelpful from them - I wasn't pleased and so I probably won't be using them again. Then no reply. And they didn't reply to the e-mail I sent them a week ago either.

Yep, like I said: They're getting most of the parts I need - some would be a special order and are being added to the subsequent order list, but that's numerous months away so I'm looking to WGC for the remainder of the stuff.

Yeh, they were my first call. They don't actually have a huge range - just the very common stuff but I've used them before for Glock bits. eHobby were no better.

Eh, anyone that tries to tell you to do something 'tactical' that's obviously unnecessary then graciously ignore them, but afford them that same courtesy by not saying anything yourself (so that we all get along fine).

They're basically all clones of the TM system and are mostly the same performance-wise. Oh, and they're all brilliant

The etching on that receiver isn't Dytac though of course I can't make it out fully. Doesn't look like VFC either (which is what the SMR and UXR are made for primarily). Also isn't a 416 - hm.

Unfortunately the WE ones are allegedly known for not seating correctly in KWC so the gas router isn't flush.

Correction: It's illegal to sell one to someone without a valid defence - UKARA is not the be all and end all.

Tokyo Model have told me I need to order in 20+ quantities after I sent them the serial list: Bit more luck with Eagle6, who have said they're getting a large order of replacement TM parts shortly.
