  1. Did you buy it here, & from who ?, I ask as a lot can be gauged from people's history/feedback, kinda things that might have set off alarm bells in more experienced players. But ultimately you bought a used, & probably fairly old gun, with a "sold as seen" type disclaimer, depending on what you paid, which should dictate whether it's worth pursuing further, or whether to suck it up & spend a wee bit more on correcting what appear to be low cost issues.
  2. Good to have another polish option, any minimum spend requirements ?, if not, how much did you spend & did you get clobbered for duty/vat, & if so, at what point ? Thanks ?

    Revolvers

Gonna throw this one out there to another member, @k.a, very knowledgeable member when it comes to revolvers in particular, he'll put you straight.
  4. Almost a given here ?
  5. You could try the zeroin Airsoft forum, I have previously seen plenty of blank firers sold on there.
  6. I like the fact that he's prepared to "talk about postage" ffs, why, cos the guns are so cheap? They say there's more out than in lol?
  7. Got a good deal on a boneyard Secutor Velites gas shottie & hard case, hopefully a fairly easy fix ? @Enid_Puceflange sorry mate?
  8. Yeah, that guys put loads up for sale this week, was in the mood for something new but not at his prices?
  9. If your in the UK, & you modify or manufacture an airsoft gun that is capable of full auto fire & that also exceeds a very specific fps/joule limit, then you have technically broken the law, irrespective of where your planning on exporting it to ?. So while we as players usually do our utmost to ensure Airsoft is viewed in a positive AND LEGAL manner in order to ensure the longevity of our hobby, here we have a retailer who is blase enough to break the law, & stupid enough to broadcast that fact to anyone that has Internet access. ? If they're prepared to offer those services to overseas clients, that's between them & the overseas client, but the minute they broadcast it, it becomes an issue that has the potential to affect all UK players.
  10. The latter, & on here they usually get called out on it, the exceptional ones get "honoured" with a mention on "Macks" ?

    THE TM MWS thread

I don't even have an mws, but scrolling through the forum on my phone it previews part of the last reply, the text above was what I saw?, needless to say I had to click on it to get some context, otherwise I'd have probably had bad dreams tonight lol
  12. It does, & in the hands of someone with a bit of common sense it would probably never be an issue, but with advent of social media & the established open forums, people feel the need to show things off or share their work. Hence the need for some common sense when it comes to lawful stuff, making deacts able to propel projectiles, even if it is low powered bb's is an obvious (to some?) no-no.
  13. #MeToo, probably a combination of everything that went bang in the military long before anyone considered hearing protection, motorcycles since my teens & years of power tools, especially all the metal cutting? Not sure what pisses me off more though, the fact that it never stops, or when my missus stops me & says "can you hear a funny buzzing/ringing sound", I've given up replying, I just give her the "look" ?
  14. To be fair Joe publics got feck all to do with it, it's the armed police that can't distinguish between a gun & a chair leg that concern me ?
  15. But do they really care ?, stating it's going "abroad" is a perfect excuse & as airsoft rifs are generally free of serial numbers it would be ridiculously difficult for the judiciary to prove otherwise, & highly unlikely that they would ever attempt to anyway. in much the same way that most uk retailers have had no concerns about selling hot guns, & most players don't find this out until they get to a site chrono (or not?), & returning them to the retailers usually results in another fee for "downgrading" ffs. its a bit like us here, new member comes on & first post is to ask about painting his two-tone black & any legal repercussions, being the fine lawful upstanding members of the airsoft community we are, we'll give him chapter & verse on why it's a big no-no, but the truth that we all know is that no one will ever know, & no one will ever ask, & the only possible way this could come to light is via a likely deadly confrontation between said player & armed police, the kind of lunacy that thankfully is rare as fuck, but also remains the biggest threat to the status quo of our sport. companies like eagle6 know this too, but they also know that yootoob videos are like money in the bank when it comes touting for business, so worth the potential risk. obviously I'm a cynical old Cnut ???
  16. Yep, made in the UK means the law has been broken, plus do I necessarily believe their "disclaimer" that it's going overseas ?, probably not as surely given how overseas limits are generally considerably higher, would the buyers not expect the output to be closer to their limits ? Just saying ?
  17. When it stops being fun ! Simples
  18. LOL, they've got some front, considering their past history. ?
  19. Sounds very cool, uber expensive & super rare I'm guessing ?, & probably no good for an aeg project build ? #MeToo
  20. What's the Ruger Mini-14 ?
  21. Depends on what side of the trigger your on ?
  22. About time I reckon ?, its got boring as f#ck?
