  1. In my experience cyma gearboxes tend to be well made so unless there's already a problem or it's making expensive sounding noises then personally I'd leave it. It's also worth noting that if you do open up the gearbox there's just as much chance it'll make no difference or even have a negative effect. If you do decide to open them up then make sure you completely finish one gun before starting the other. The last thing you want the evening before a game is to have to fix 2 guns
  2. Tbh that's a sensible offer. The broken body is a known weak spot on them and the busted fire selector means it'll need more work.
  3. But you're not a gentleman so spill the beans 😁
  4. Welcome Gwyneth Paltrow's head?
  5. He's been told multiple times every time he posts the advert but just won't listen. If he's who I think he is then we've met and the ex is better off without
  6. Also I'm pretty sure most couriers have rules about Joe Public posting pressurised canisters of flammable gasses
  7. ⬆️⬆️⬆️This. If you've recieved any message or e mail saying click here for payment then ignore it as it's a scammer
  8. I haven't been to Dragon's Lair so I can't comment on how good the site is. But I think it's worth pointing out that often the people running the site aren't the ones who have the final say on what can or can't be built
  9. Still not worth that much but at least he's put it in the boneyard section this time. Pictures even taken from another ad on usedairsoft
  10. Not surprising. Assuming the stated fps is with a .2g bb that works out as 0.34j
  11. Looks nice but I can't help thinking there's going to be a lot of wear and tear on those moving parts. Combined with having quite a few proprietary parts this could cause problems when it comes to fixing or upgrading
  12. It's a scam. 30 seconds on Google shows Omega warranty cards look nothing like that
  13. The first condom was invented in Cardiff in 1859 and was made from sheep intestines. They didn't become popular though for another 4 years after an Englishman decided to take the intestines out of the sheep
  14. That's one thing which tripped me up. Arriving late I missed the safety brief so I didn't know about that rule. I agree with it as it's an extra layer of safety, but what I didn't like was that when I was pulled up for it I mentioned that it wasn't on the website, just to get a curt "it's on the Facebook page". The same member of staff didn't look too happy when rather than give them any more money I used one of the spare pair of hiking socks i kept in my kit bag
  15. My only trip to driver wood gave me the impression the owner tries to squeeze every penny out of his customers as possible
  16. For me it's Blackstone for the reasons already mentioned, but also good for those of us using public transport being only 20 minutes walk from the station. Another site I'd recommend is South Herts Airsoft near Kings Langley. While facilities are a bit sparse the atmosphere is always friendly, the owners do listen to feedback (both positive and negative) and are regularly working on the site to keep things fresh. To me the only negative is that it's difficult to get to and I'd definitely go there more often if it wasn't. This. There's been quite a few times where I've had great days and supposedly bad sites and there's some sites with excellent reps which I wouldn't return to if I was paid
  17. Thanks for the heads up.
  18. That doesn't make things any better. Infact joe public is more likely to shit the bed seeing a group of people wearing military kit than one lone weirdo. Then why ask if it's a good idea? Btw that attitude doesn't paint you in a good light, you just sound like a 15 year old emo kid trying to be edgy
  19. I've seen a couple of goontube videos were people have gone for a walk while discussing and wearing a particular bit of kit and tbh it just looks cringy and attention seeking. These chats could just as easily (if not easier) be done at home
  20. I don't have a huge amount of experience with bolt action rifles (I tried it but it's not my playing style) but one thing I'll add is that sniping isn't just a case of sitting back our of AEG range plinking people. Being a successful sniper involves alot more fieldcraft so don't be surprised if it takes you a while to properly get the hang of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying don't do it but it's quite common for newer players to buy a bolt action rifle, only to be selling it a month or so later as it's not what they were hoping for
  21. That makes more sense as the SCAR is still the issued rifle for the Belgian military
  22. Legal, yes. A good idea , no.
  23. Sorry but I don't think drinks like that are a good idea. Yes they'll give you an energy boost on the short term, but when the caffeine and sugar rush wear off you just end up feeling even more knackered. Also caffeine is a diuretic so you'll be even more dehydrated
