  1. Water and alot of it. Even though the warmer months are gone you'll still sweat more than Gary Glitter getting his hard drive checked and dehydration isn't fun (guess who learned that the hard way). Also avoid drinking too many "energy" drinks like monster etc as they just give you a caffeine high before you crash and feel even worse. Does the site provide lunch l? If not then there's that and even if they do taking a few snacks is a good for a morale and energy boost. Plus you don't have to queue up and it'll save you a few quid Of course many sites will have drinks and snacks for sale but buying on site will be way more expensive and taking your own means you don't have to queue up and you can take exactly what you like. Agreed, even if it's just a change of shirt. A shirt drenched in sweat will suck the warmth out of you (and not in a good way😉) when you stop moving and generally be more comfortable
  2. Tbh I'd leave it alone as that equals 1.05j. You won't need to up the muzzle energy much before it becomes too hot for 99% of sites and that small increase will do bugger all to increase performance. If you need more range then you're better off upgrading your hop up or use heavier bbs (note joule creep from heavier ammo might make the gun hot so you'd possibly need to dial the psi down)
  3. I get the feeling he's given up on selling here after getting called out on his bullshit prices
  4. I followed the link in the text and it's long time Mack's resident avenger63
  5. Wasn't there another thread on here were it was posted that bio bbs only break down under certain conditions, eg high temperatures, which rarely happen? Iirc the consensus was that biodegradable is abit misleading and compostable would be a better description Edit: found it
  6. It's not surprising really. The program it was originally designed for was cancelled by SOCOM and most of their sales were relatively small numbers to special units. I don't think it will have any effect of availability of airsoft SCAR replicas
  7. I don't know how bad the bucking problems are with that gun but if it's being used for cqb then the short engagement range means there's a high chance they might not be an issue at all
  8. He's got the rule 5 timestamp on the second picture but it's so small it's illegible unless you zoom in
  9. Look who's back with some real bargains (not sarcasm at all, honest)
  10. Exactly that. I've never noticed any difference in performance between the two and never had any problems with them. Quite simply the idea of bio bbs being bad isn't true anymore and needs to be confined to history along with chronoing on .2s
  11. Update: After putting several hundred rounds though the traser I forgot to charge it for last months game so didn't use it. I tried charging it for yesterday's game only to find it's stopped working so I've got to drop that score to 1/10.
  12. Is it just me or is someone taking the piss? It really doesn't help when 2 different prices are mentioned
  13. Looking at her other ads I'm more concerned that she thinks a 35 year old soviet made gas mask is ok to use in airsoft https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/clothing-gear/gas-mask-and-boots_i88582
  14. @samjay I take it you didn't see @Tackle's post here
  15. Just had a great afternoon at Blackstone. There was a good mix of regular and new players and it was good to seethe newbies getting stuck in rather than hanging back. Games on the whole went well despite one player on the red team who was a little reluctant to take his hits. The marshals dealt with it though and after he'd been spoken to suddenly started making excuses about needing to go. Why someone would think they can get away with cheating at a site where engagement ranges are measured in feet and everyone is wearing numbered armbands is beyond me but meh, sod him. After he went I didn't see or hear of any hit taking problems.
  16. I don't have any hands on experience with gbb m4 or ak platforms so I'll leave that advice to others (although the TM MP7 is in budget if you're open to other guns) Tbh I'd get that sorted first. While being on the ukara database isn't essential it does make things easier when buying
  17. In my experience tape like that only helps with grip if the area you're putting it on is smooth plastic. What it's good at is absorbing water and unraveling so it can get caught on bushes
  18. Wasn't in UA where someone advertised a real glock and the admin did bugger all?
  19. I remember the same thing being said about faceache groups and pretty much every other form of social media. One of the big advantages forums have over other places is that it's easier to find previously posted information, whereas newer platforms are designed to force users to post rather than actually put in any effort to finding the answers themselves.
  20. Never used ot as I can't be arsed with yet another social media app. From what I've read I'm not missing much
  21. True but it's not worth anywhere near that much
  22. Not sure of it's the same seller or if they just used the same photos, but a Google lens search brings up this. That's £930 https://www.ebay.com/itm/365792190675?itmmeta=01K6ZM0ZH5X7JMJV2QG7Y30AQF&hash=item552ae9e0d3:g:OSEAAeSwEOJomj8E&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4MHg7L1Zz0LA5DYYmRTS30kzWibD%2FSabVnwF3n8pnm59OfTMe5r%2BCsxMxHG42JdF3e%2BQqjGzR49sIUejQgA1R1zgp4JwtLGPryKhVRIVCdrOVDXOicNygoXkgbuejWeY%2F2hXgZSHk7x4dKaLNu6Cqe93G%2BSBjINO%2Bu%2B6yio2F0IqAW6Dswzts2OLtlw4TF7hh9%2F%2BSmmol7o07pv7pQMDuR9qrx6XGwVqN96a8G9L6SZufOC7pQOU%2FZq54rik8AC9aDbp7s%2BE6psD38oC9KYZJf6SsqfJhdifnUEIGDn88nS2|tkp%3ABFBM2PiD9Ldm
  23. Edit: nevermind
  24. That was one of the reasons Bodgeups stopped doing YouTube
  25. Isn't it standard operating procedure for threads to be totally derailed here?
