Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

It's a vorsk so I'd be surprised it could manage that power level without performing a rapid unplanned disassembly -
If you could change the joule limit, would you?
Cannonfodder replied to Gunboat Diplomat's topic in General Discussion
I'd say the power limits are fine where they are. This is because, as others have posted, higher joules doesn't equal more range and one factor not mentioned is that if it did it would make many smaller sites unplayable. Image how boring it would be if both sides just got 10 yards out of their spawn and lobbed shots at each other. -
Using 2 pistols together looks tacticool but tbh is more hassle than it's worth as inevitably you end up firing both guns at the same target but with badly aimed shots and then there's the issue of reloading. By all means let him give it a go bit I wouldn't be surprised if he decides it's not worth it after a short time

Battlefield 6 is just a Milsim airsoft ;)

This. Governments are notoriously tight fisted so would pick the cheapest option available (although it also wouldn't surprise me if they doubled the budget doing feasibility studies to tell them what anyone with common sense would already know) -
I'm certainly not an electrical engineer but that sounds right to me. If you have acces to a current tester and soldering iron it may be possible to repair

A pistol and shotgun were my go to combo for cqb for a while till I picked up my MP7

Another vote for the FRAG C here. One thing I like about it is that the safety can be put on and off with one hand and you can tell if it's on or off just by feel so you don't need to look at it (no idea if this is the case for the quake grenades though as I've never owned one)

Zombie themed Halloween games. In fact I'd go even further and say all holiday themed games. Inevitably they're always the same, just with some people in costume and the same cookie cutter games with bugger all thought gone into the actual game mechanics
-
That sounds like a perfectly valid reason to buy more guns

Not so much tactics but Bodgeups did some good videos showing what sniping is like in airsoft. All his videos are a few years old now though ad he gave up on the whole YouTube thing. I won't go into detail but his headshots aren't the worst thing he does. I would say he's a cunt but I don't think he's got the warmth, depth or ability to provide pleasure. With airsoft on YouTube you need to remember that 99% of videos are very heavily edited to make the player look far better than they actually are

I neither confirm nor deny anything

So the Mrs was out and I was bored so I decided to do a little dress up for the camera. Not the best picture but sod it

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

Nice to see cringy patches isn't just an airsoft thing 😁 -
People need to bare in mind that any damage in shipping is the seller's responsibility. If they're not going to be helpful then hit them where it hurts and get a refund via however you paid. This is why you don't pay via bank transfer or PayPal f&f and quite frankly anyone who does still use these is asking for trouble

I wonder if the face welly comes with a replacement pair of eye balls as I doubt it's bb safe -

Not to mention unusable at pretty much any site if his stated power levels are true -
From what I remember several variations of that
-
Just one thing to bear in mind. If the gearbox is rear wired changing from a fixed to adjustable stock will restrict what size battery can fit
-
As above. Lend them out to trusted mates on the clear understanding that they pay for any damages. If they don't like this or you don't trust them then maybe they're not as good friends as you think
-
Leasing to who? If you mean other players that sounds like a great way to get your guns broken, or worse, stolen. People tend to treat rented things way worse than if they owned them and the cost of repairs will be far more than you'll make. Not to mention I doubt any site owner will be happy about it.

Not to sound like there's an echo in here but definitely go for a TM. The clones are cheaper for a good reason

Just found that page and bloody hell it hasn't gone well for him in the comments. Also 99% of the posts look like the modern version of the postcards you used to find in phone boxs
-
That deserves so much more than just a Haha reaction. I doubt he could pull in a brothel with a suitcase full of £20 notes

Pretty much full price for a two tone discontinued gun where spare parts are hard to get, no pics of the eotech to tell if it's started to delaminate (or even a genuine one) and when you read the advert half the stuff in the picture isn't included in the price -
You've hit the nail on the head there. I think what most people here are posting about are the ones who either base their whole enjoyment of a game solely on the result (yes it's nice to win but that's not the be all and end all), or will scream and shout at others (often people they don't know) to follow their plan no matter how bad it is while staying so far back they might as well be in the safezone
