You'll also let all the pixie dust out. Both TM and SA are pretty reliable so either should be ok. Is there any particular feature which interests you?

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Another one only signing up to try and sell their tat for almost the same price as new. Roll on September and all the kids go back to school -
The Nano tracer, as the name suggests, is the smallest traser unit made by T238 measuring 23mm by 53mm, making it roughly the size of a C cell battery and perfect for pistols and SMGs. Retailing at £30 I wanted to see if it's as good a bargain as it seems. It comes boxed with a very short charging cable and an adapter to fit 11mm pistol muzzle which brings us to me making a boo boo. The traser unit has reverse threads and after checking the fit of the adapter I accidentally tried to remove it turning it the wrong way with a pair of pliers for extra grip. I didn't put much pressure on it and the whole 11mm threads snapped off. This is 100% my fault but does make me question the quality of the metal used for it to break so easily. Fortunately I was able to get the thing off and fitted it to my MP5K. It has shake to wake with a cut off after 20 minutes of not moving. Oh and it also works with red traser bbs. In both testing and use in game yesterday in worked flawlessly with every bb being lit up brightly making it easy to adjust for any second shots Now the negatives. First there's the question of the strength of the adapter mentioned earlier. Next is the front and back end caps are both made of a frosted colourless plastic so every time the traser goes off the whole area around you is bathed in a blue light. I ended up covering them with gorilla tape to block it out but in the future I might take it apart and paint those bits. The last minus point is another small one. There's no master on/off switch so while travelling to and from site every time the traser unit moves it's switching itself on. Not a big problem but something to bear in mind. All in all I'd say it's a good piece of kit and at half the price of a Brighter C traser an option for those on a tighter budget 7/10 for now. If it does decide to play up I'll post it here

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Cannonfodder replied to Skara's topic in General Discussion
I went up to Blackstone in Huntington again yesterday. Upstairs was out of use as they're redecorating and the supposedly dry in 48 hours paint was still wet, despite being done on Tuesday, but this wasn't a problem as numbers were low at only 15. It was my first time using a traser and i noticed straight away how much of a difference it makes knowing exactly where your shots are going All in all it was another excellent day despite the heat and the only negative was rushing to get the train with a minute to spare only to find out it had been cancelled -
Having a collection of pics like that'll get you a job at Dye precision

Shirt/Trousers for the larger gentlemen question
Cannonfodder replied to Punisher3990's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I second genuine surplus gear if you want MTP. They're way more durable than the Kombat UK stuff and you can get sizes that are a better fit with the 3 number sizes -

Cyma AK anatomy and installing wooden furniture
Cannonfodder replied to Andrus_Arseen's topic in Electric Guns
Don't cyma make quite a few AKs with wood furniture? -
Sorry, I thought it's gas powered. In that case tbh I've no idea about how good a deal it is.

Ukara (and other defences) are only for buying, not selling

I agree it looks like a SV/GE version of the Remington 870. Iirc this one GE call the 8873 model with a few accessories fitted. They're great fun, especially in cqb. The only issue I found with mine is that they don't hold much gas, although it's the model with the goose neck grip so the stock tube may hold more. Either carry a can of gas with you or you can easily convert it to HPA by changing the fill valve. With the extras that's not a bad deal

Adam and Eve are walking through the garden of eden when all of a sudden Eve starts her first ever period. Panicking she asks Adam what to do so Adam tells her "go wash yourself in the river and I'll talk to god." So she went to the river while Adam spoke to god. Adam explains what's happened to god who asks "where's Eve?" Adam says he told her to wash herself in the river and god replied "No! Now I'll never get the smell out of the fish"

Why is it that the ads with silly prices are often the ones where the seller is leaving the game? -
Although it can be funny to watch them get all pissy when it's pointed out that if they really didn't care they wouldn't make such a song and dance about how little they care

Which retailers in the UK accept Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance?
Cannonfodder replied to superwok's topic in General Discussion
Yes @superwok read the room. Nobody is going to help you so give it a rest or to put it bluntly, fLIP off YOU NAUGHT MAN, & STOP TRYING TO FIND WAYS TO GET AROUND THE LAW. Edit: I think it would be best for everyone if mods lock this thread -
Which retailers in the UK accept Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance?
Cannonfodder replied to superwok's topic in General Discussion
It's worth remembering that there's the possibility that deliberate attempts to get around the vcra could get our defence removed completely. Our defence was given on the basis that the airsoft community would be self policing -
Which retailers in the UK accept Just-Cos Cosplayer Insurance?
Cannonfodder replied to superwok's topic in General Discussion
No. Just cos is a bullshit defence which only exists to take money from stupid people. -
It takes a special kind of partner to agree to such things. Also make sure you trim your nails first?

Welcome. The posts above have pretty much covered everything but I'll add this. Gloves are recommended as a shit to the knuckles will bloody hurt. Also when on site don't be afraid to ask people about their kit or guns you like the look of, most players are more than happy to show off and talk about their stuff (getting them to stop is probably harder) and will probably let you fire off a few shots if you ask nicely.

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Cannonfodder replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
The bit that makes me laugh is the way it's described as "high end" when half of it is chinese clones. Don't get me wrong, some of the budget friendly kit can be really good value for money but to call it high end is taking the piss -
At least the silly prices for tat gives us plenty of fodder for Mack's. I was thinking more about the dumb questions and grand ideas with such big holes that Stevie Wonder could see them
