my G34.5 slide arrived today! Love it ? testament to how far guarder have come, this slide was drop in. Just needed some oil. The last gen3 slide I bought from them took hours of sanding to get it to run smoothly.
-
Drop me with a DM to talk about what you want ? if we can find a commercially licensed part (quite common now) then it shouldn’t be too hard to do. can also do a range of materials from aesthetic plastics to engineering grade materials. See below - an example of the quality of some of the engineering filaments ?

TM G17 Gen5 with agency slide and Acro couple more bits to do to it. But it’s there in terms of internals. Just needs an extended slide catch and Big A frame.

I use a second hand Garmin fenix 4(?). it’s got hardened steel bevel and gorilla glass. Survived the last few years fine ?

Got a new dremel with angle grinder pads. turns out gen3/4 triggers will fit the gen5 if you’re handy with a dremel. ?

Poorly shimmed AEG gear boxes really grind my gears.

If you have the file to print it, and the licensing allows for it, then there’s a bunch of us that can print it. I typically print things for cost so that Airsofters can get what they want for their airsoft guns. Others do it as an actual business and charge different prices. if you need the design work doing, that’s were it gets expensive. If it’s something simple like a supressor or a small part, some people can CAD it for a small cost but something like a rail is quite labour intensive and may not be cost effective. Jez said “for £53 buy that one”. I think he’s right. The SRU pre-made one will likely be cheaper and better quality than getting some random bloke off the forums to print you one.

Are Glock 17 and 18 exhaust valves universal
MistakenMexican replied to Wegalaxy's topic in Gas Guns
So to answer the title of the thread: No. some brands of glock have slightly different exhaust valves. But generally speaking most modern GBB glocks all use the same exhaust valve. To answer the actual question, I’m fairly sure the valve you’ve linked on AliExpress will fit. -
In my opinion, the M&P9L and hicapa 4.3 are vastly different pistols. The 9L is a “long barrel” pistol. Similar in length to the hicapa 5.1. Personally I’d recommend the Hicapa as they have a more abundant spare parts and upgrades. the M&Ps used to have loads of upgrades and spare parts but most of that has dried up as popularity dropped off.

maybe we can trust the TM to be a bit more reliable?

played a game at CQB Swindon back in the day. A bloke brought his 12 year old daughter along to play. She was absolutely lethal ? she’d run around the corner screaming “you wouldn’t shoot a girl, would you?” - the little girls voice would give just enough pause that she’d get the drop on our team every single time ?

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
MistakenMexican replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Back to this point of this thread ? why buy an EXA brand new when you can buy one second hand (absolutely ragged) for retail. its a bargain though. It’s a great pistol…. That’s the justification for selling at re-fail rates. -
it still boggles my mind that people will buy a Vorsk or Nuprol Hicapa/glock over the Japanese equivalent. Lots of the Vorsk hicapas are a good £10 more than a TM Hicapa government model. yes they don’t look as fancy, but they’ll last much longer.
-
it’s looking promising ? they have no excuses now they’ve done the new glocks, the P320, the pink P90 and the extra hicapas that literally no one was asking for ?
-
As they’ve built from the ground up, do you think the P320 will have a realistic ND feature? That would be quite exciting ? Also, this bodes well for those who complain about no browning high power. Another 5 years and we might get one ??
-
Winding up strangers on the internet is far from it ? To be fair, they probably have standard Japanese work ethic of getting it perfect first try. Hence why they’re not pumping out a million variations of the same thing that break on the first game *cough**vorsk**cough*
-
Also, I’d be willing to bet the V2 G19 mags will just be V1 G19 mags with orange followers ? they’d already adopted the awful pinned base design for G19 mags.

“TM can’t produce any more glocks” also TM…

Hi all, I couldn’t find a thread specifically about the GHM9, so I thought I’d start one. I previously had two, the GHM9-G (glock mags) and GHM9-K (MP9 mags). I sold the GHM9-K recently as I didn’t use it. But I kept the GHM9-G as I use it and want to use it more. I really like it, however out of the box it has one big flaw - it’s gas efficiency. The stock mag only allows you to load 30bbs, which I think was probably strategic when they realised it wouldn’t finish a long mag. It would be fine in the height of summer, I could finish a 50rd mag. But terrible in typical British weather. Recently I’ve fitted a 230mm TBB which is hidden in the supressor and runs into a tracer. However, the muzzle energy shot up from 1.1J to 1.6J. This prompted me to find a way to reduce the muzzle power and increase the gas efficiency. This resulted in a nozzle valve spacer and a short stroke spacer. I also found my GHM9 stock had nothing on the end, so I made a knurled butt plate for the stock. I don’t have any photos, but there was quite a bit of work involved in getting guarder magazines to fit. I’ll have to wait until winter, but I’m hoping the end result is something that runs all year around!

Need Some Advice – Struggling to Maintain My MWS Setup
MistakenMexican replied to Ulmocuk's topic in General Discussion
Nozzle breaking: that sounds like a set up issue. The nozzles shouldn’t be breaking so frequently. Have you fitted a GM v3.5 nozzle? I’ve fitted those and they seem to be pretty robust. I’ve also heard nozzles snapping can occur from over-loading the magazines with bbs. Maybe try putting a few less bbs in each mag? you could also look at a stronger nozzle return spring. mags leaking: if properly maintained and stored, they shouldn’t leak. My pistol mags are stored in a peli case with a desiccant and pressure valve. Of the 50, only 5 leaked after 6 months in a storage container (when I moved house) and presently those 5 are the only ones that leak and that’s because the orings have perished. if you store them with a low pressure, high silicone gas, they’ll likely stay gas tight indefinitely. I used to to abbey maintenance gas but recently moved to ultra air because it’s cheaper. -
Just be wary, the police have a lot more time for “violent” and “real” crime than they do “non-violent” crimes like theft and shoplifting. They’ll be more inclined to arrest you and charge you with assault for laying a hand on the thief whilst retrieving your stolen goods back, than they are inclined to charge the burglars. Lots of these thieves will know how to play the system as well. They’ll make their assault and lower hanging fruit than the theft of your belongings.

“Hey Alexa, shoot the bad guys” Also - their website seems abit contrary. glock - introducing the *brand new* G17L gen5 MOS also glock - discontinuing the G17L gen5 MOS
-
I heard a rumour from IWA at the G45 & G45 MOS sales were outstripping every other model and glock were considering reducing all the models that competed with the G45 MOS. Did put much weight in it as it was pub talk. Sounds like my friend might have been speaking some truth. In other news (with the help of Facebook translate) it sounds like the new batch of G17.5s might ship in Japan soon. Maybe on 2nd May?in

It’s a British G17:
