My Marui based Sig 226E2 went down last weekend. Had it apart today to try and sort it. Found the guarder enhanced nozzle valve was in 2 pieces. Disappointing as this pistol is only used with abbey ultra gas, not the most powerful of green gases as we know. It’s also had very limited use, only firing 300 to 400 bb’s. Is this a common breakage, I have glued the 2 parts back together, seems o.k, anyone else done this, did it last. Any recommendations for stronger nozzle innards. I thought being a guarder upgrade part it would be good.

It won’t, becomes very unreliable as the nozzle doesn’t retract.

I saw this, but it doesn’t have the end cap.

Having trouble finding the above. Does anyone know if the spring is the same as the M&P9 or the Hi Capa.

I wouldn’t store guns in foam filled cases, not at any temperature, especially not in an area with high humidity. Cloth cases with no lining or a cloth lining is far safer. Beware things like VP90 as well in close contact they can dry out wood and do permanent damage.

Personally I prefer the Maruyama scw-9 pro.

Thanks, didn’t know about the tab. As I said on the post above the problem is completely cured by loading bb’s with the lower one on the right hand side, seems strangely fussy, but it works every time that way.

I wouldn’t be putting any kind of mineral oil near an airsoft gun personally.

No, he removed the advert, apparently because he was getting low offers so decided to keep it. When I asked he said he would sell to me as I had approached him with questions before. He definitely has or had the pistol as he provided pics that I asked for without problem.

I was going to buy a pistol from a member on here. I asked for his PayPal and he asked for mine, which i thought rather strange. Went to my PayPal and entered his details, and it showed the amount and the conversion into HKD ? Didn't complete and asked if he was in the U.K. He said that’s why I asked for your PayPal, to avoid confusion, he then sent a PayPal payment request. Again asked for his address and he gave me a Lancashire address. I checked and it was a legitimate address. I have asked the last guy who left him feedback for advice after buying a very expensive pistol from him, unfortunately despite being on here quite regularly he has declined to answer my message. Told now the pistol is sold so I missed out, not sold on here though apparently. The seller seems a pleasant helpful guy and I would have liked to buy the pistol, but things just didn’t seem quite right. Would a guy from HK now living over here still have a PayPal account that converts £’s into HK Dollars.

Parts for all WA guns are hard to find these days, not sure what makes are compatible though.

Simple cure, make sure you stack the bb’s with the lower one on the right, works perfectly then.

The only retailer I know who only accepts UKARA and nothing else is patrol base, so all the rest just want the sales?

Not sure why you’re saying some are bogus defences. I can’t see Firesupport doing anything that was bogus, don’t they run the UKARA system for a start.

You can buy airsoft guns quite legally without UKARA, the Sportsman Association membership is accepted by almost every airsoft dealer for instance. Have a look at the Firesupport site which lists all the defences accepted. See below.

Thanks for the reply, apparently it’s to cushion the bolt and stop the nozzle from entering to far into the hop unit. Not sure how it could be transferred to the GM bolt though.

Just purchased the Guns Modify V2 complete bolt with the V3.5 nozzle installed. Unlike the original Marui nozzle it doesn’t have the sprung loaded section around the nozzle. I am told it’s designed to not need it, but I can’t see any reason they wouldn’t include it. The guns modify nozzles are highly recommended so I guess it’s o.k. Any one have any suggestions why they don’t.

Seems rather pointless, they did an alu slide version of the Gen 3, don’t know anyone who bought it, around £260 I think.
